Frequently Asked Questions

What counts as an 'allied health professional' for lender programs?

Most lenders include AHPRA-registered physios, psychologists, occupational therapists, podiatrists, speech pathologists, dietitians, chiropractors, osteopaths and optometrists. Vets sit outside AHPRA but are included by some lenders. Paramedics typically access different (essential-worker) waiver pathways.

Generally no — allied health LMI waiver caps are typically 85–90% LVR, vs 95–100% for doctors. Still significantly better than standard, but worth knowing the ceiling.

Yes, with the right lender. Some lenders only credit PAYG; others combine salary + private practice income at full or near-full value. We match you to lenders that work for your income pattern.

Yes. Some lenders are much more comfortable with contractor and ABN income than others. The specific lender we choose affects how much of your income is credited.

To buy into or buy out a practice, generally yes. But equipment finance (clinic furniture, diagnostic equipment, vehicles) is available to allied health pros whether you own a practice or work in one.
